The panel on which "Once Upon a Wish" is painted was prepared with a different gesso than usual... making the painting surface not unlike a fine sandpaper sponge. Thicker/more paint was used to compensate and I am happy with it. Though I probably won't use that gesso again.
Hi Diana, Very nice detailed paintings. Is there any specific paintbrushes that you are using ? is the quality of paintbrushed important to you when doing more detailed paintings ?
by the way...i am trying to gather my research in this blog post: http://kralliste.com/paint-brush-quality-materials/ so it could be cool if there was something that you think was missing ?
Really beautiful...love that one pink petal on the table, it just ties it all together!
