Three Roses floral still life painting

Three Roses  Oil on wood  14" x 11"  NFS
This bud vase was discovered in a box of junk vintage items I won at an auction (back when I was selling antique door hardware and lighting on Ebay.)  I like it very much and will paint it again sometime.

    There is so much to like in this gorgeous painting, Diane. The feeling of space you created working with this sophisticated color harmony is quite amazing. The bud vase is lovely - yes, but so is everything else.

    And yes, there's a wonderful depth to the background, almost like the pattern is on glass.

    I used to have a collection of gorgeous little bud vases...wonder what happened to them! (when I moved here 7 years ago, I lost track of a lot...hmmm)
