Jessie cute dog painting pet portrait

Jessie  Oil on wood  6" x 6"  SOLD
Jessie likes to ride his human's tractor.  His little splayed feet kill me with cuteness.
I've been working on a an all consuming side project which I will announce next week.  Also next week, some time in the studio painting!  Looking forward to that!

    The treament of his skin is remarkable. Of course he has fur, but when one pets such a little being, it feel like a type of skin and you caught that, love the highlights. The posture is spot on, his little behind is firmly seated in that chair. Great!

    Your brushstrokes really capture his soft fur so well, Diane. It looks like you just laid down a few here and there, and out came this darling doggie. You make it look so easy. (If, only!)
