16x20 Daisy Painting in Progress

Will re-work this after it's had a minute to dry. Every time I sat down to paint, something else needed my attention. (Ha, not complaining!) If it was smaller I might throw it on the burn pile, but at 16x20, wasting the materials and time it took to get this far is unthinkable. It's still salvage-able! Will come back around to it after a little break.

  3. It looks good to me! I like the sense of depth you have, the colors, and the subtle design 'wallpaper' in the background.

  6. Oh Diane, I hope you do not throw it away, it is stunning. Isn't it funny how we are all our own worst critics? this is such a lovely piece, though I like all of your florals, this is one of my favorites!

The purple duck must stay. (There's a sentence I don't believe I'm said before.)

  9. The little duck is begging to be finished. What a nice companion to go along with your "Saturday Circus" painting. Love the way you work the cute little creatures into them.
