Another of the same. Gosh, they look a bit stronger as two instead of one, don't they? I forgot to say HAPPY NEW YEAR last time I posted. Happy New Year! (:
so pretty!!!!! Happy New Year to you too! :)
ReplyDeleteLove these latest "decorative" paintings Diane and the way you have integrated background and foreground subject in a holistic way. Someone said William Morris in the last post - yes, that does remind me of him but also the Japanese tradition. Enjoy the acrylics - they are a very flexible medium I think. I also agree - yeh, change, improvise, see what happens. Great stuff.
ReplyDeleteLove these Diane! I've come to expect no less! You do poppies much justice!! Happy New Year!!

ReplyDeleteI really love these...I could see them being turned into fabric squares through a site like spoonflower.com, too. They'd translate well.
ReplyDeleteI love flower art in any shape or form! Your poppies are brilliant!
ReplyDeleteI love your poppies, Diane. The graphic design, which I love, looks like it's ready for a manufacturer of linens or wall paper or fine art prints to snap up.
ReplyDeleteDiane, these are gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous! I can only imagine how striking they are at 18"x18" full size. Everything about them is fantastic, including those leaves!
