Mighty Tortie painting of tortoiseshell cat

Mighty Tortie  Oil on wood, 8" x 8,"  SOLD
I kinda steer clear of cats with fussy coloration. They can make for a tedious experience painting...  There are so many Tortoiseshell cats at the shelters, all so lovely! I feel vaguely guilty for not painting more of them. There was nothing tedious about the "Mighty Tortie."
