Sleepy Spot and an Honorable Mention at 12th Annual VMRC exhibit

It was another stellar art exhibit at Park Gables Gallery in VA!  I'm pleased to report my "Gadjo" painting won an Honorable Mention. (It sold too, woohoo!)  The 12th annual national exhibit and award winners can be viewed online, here. 
Today's painting is another cat available for adoption at the Cleveland APL.  (Her name is actually Juliette, here's a link to her profile on the shelter website.) I may try this one again sometime, bigger.  I really like the composition.

    Congratulations, Diane! Btw, I love your painting of Julliette. You've done such a beautiful job of painting her fur I feel like I could dip my fingers into it and give her a good rub.

    I sighed out loud with pleasure when I saw Juliette - LOVE everything about this sensitive painting - yes, do this composition again - so incredibly sweet.
