Another floral + feline. So many variables factor into planning these paintings, but it's fun. When choosing reference photos, light direction, size and placement of all matter! Photos of still life set ups (that I previously deemed not worth painting) bring renewed interest with the addition of kitteh.
This takes my breathe away. I want to come over and pet Sally- she looks so sweet. Reference photos yes, at times I find myself following ones that have nothing to do with creatures because the composition is compelling.
