In the Shadow oil painting cat and bird

In the Shadow  Oil on wood  8" x 8"  SOLD
The subjects of this painting were photographed in two different places...  The sparrow frequents the outdoor cafes at the Cleveland Zoo and kitty waits for adoption at the Cleveland Animal Protective League...  Kitty considered pouncing and decided against it.

    The cat seems to be listening and also to represent Fate. Sometimes the paw comes down on us , sometimes it does not . Beautifully painted
