Despite a strong desire to shop for shoes, clean the kitchen and/or avoid all-things-painting (it happens) I dragged myself into the studio to paint April Tulips. I ended up trying a few new things... thinner paint application and more interpretive color. ...and I learned a few things. I'm looking forward to the next.
Didn't recognize this as your work, Diane so I asked myself what was different. No cat? Maybe, but it was more than that. The two main pink tulips are definitely "yours" plus the creamy one but after that there is a difference. Pushing yourself into exploratory areas is stimulating and I will watch with interest to see the next beautiful painting.
