I think it's really neat that you chose a shelter cat as a subject. There are many wonderful animals for adoption. Almost all have been spayed or neutered, have their shots and are tested for FIV, etc. You can't go to a vet and get all that care for the cost of an adoption fee. Again, wonderful idea!
Tender Diane!
ReplyDeleteYou always create such soft looking fur on animals. I love them. You should do a work in progress on one.
ReplyDeleteDiane, I think this is the loveliest cat painting I've ever seen.

omg this red head reminds me of your nephews in repose...if that ever happens lol
ReplyDeleteBeautiful painting. Glad to see you're spending time at APL. The best way to honor a cat is with another cat.... when you're ready.
ReplyDeleteSuper!

ReplyDeleteoh - how sweet is this face! He reminds me a bit of my Hamilton (when he was young)!
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful. She looks so soft, soft enough to melt at a touch. And the colors are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteLovely Kitty--she has the same expression as our last cat.
