Kudos to Home Depot, they cut MDF boards into 30 near perfect 12x12 squares for me yesterday. Today, I gesso. If you are not reading this post in your email, please consider subscribing to this blog, here.
This is fascinating . Do you paint sitting down or standing up? Whew I'm painting alot of panels that need to dry , I use an old dish drainer , from the washing dishes by hand days and put the panels in the dish slots . Keeps a bunch upright and separate ...another storage tip: over the door shoe holders with clear pockets for paint tubes
how many coats do you do? It would be great to have them cut my boards. My husband usually does them, but I hate to ask. Maybe I should learn to cut them myself. Don't think it's the best use of my time though. But then I'd be learning a skill I can always use. I'mhaving a debate with myself, can you tell? hehe
Hi Anne! Both sitting and standing depending on what I'm painting. Thanks for the tips!! Sharon, for these--only two. They are for a special project... Home Depot gladly cut them, I recommend you ask them to do it!! (Unless you already bought them and brought them home in which case I'm not sure if they'll do it.)
It looks like you gessoed all 30 all at once too! Love your picture! lol
