I'm awarding myself extra points for this painting because it's big (relative to what I normally paint!) I found myself getting a little mired in details... and next time around must remind myself (again) to lay down big shapes first. I've painted several variation on these lilies. Bravo! I love the yellow, green, and orange background, and how the dark leaves and stem interact with the background and still pop forward! The flowers are gorgeous also :)
