While I feel somewhat defensive (is that the word? self conscious?) about this sentimental painting --I must say I think I captured my little gray bear here-- in all his forlorn glory. He's not a sad cat really, but he has his moments like we all do. (:
Not sentimental at all. Your painting is too strong to use that word. I think it is brilliant when you can capture emotion in a painting and whatever the reason for the mood, this cat's face will stay with me.
Lovely and sensitive. Looks like our George when we pass through the kitchen without feeding him... a resigned, disappointed look.
