Ivory Cosmos oil painting of wildflowers glass jar
Ivory Cosmos Oil on cradled wood 14" x 11" SOLD
Very happy with this one. I made a couple minor changes to the 2010 version of this painting, here. I was content with that one --but this one really hits the sweet spot.
It's amazing what a few small changes can do! I see you've darkened the back flower and a petal on the tallest flower... sharpened the highlight on the glass. It's great, just like you said, it really hits the "sweet spot"!
Ohhhhh, so gorgeous! :))
ReplyDeleteLove the red!
ReplyDeleteGoes great with your hair Diane:)
Really nice separation of the shadows and lights, Diane. Good one.

ReplyDeleteNot only does it look appealing, but you are painting in a larger format. Keeping your NY resolutiion. Love it.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful piece, Diane. The jar is perfectly painted.
ReplyDeleteLove the angles of the petals and the bright reds. Just lovely...
ReplyDeleteLove this: the simplicity and spare color and restful composition... just so wonderful.
