I applaud you for really studying the cat's anatomy and depicting it correctly. Your choice of colors and the graphic fawns remind me of the art deco period of the 1930's. The cat looking back over his shoulder could be symbolic of looking to the past, intended or not. I think this is a fantastic little piece whether one is a cat lover or not.
I agree, the sprinting fawns definitely echo the cat's character - love that he is turned looking at them in a way that is so playful! Great Diane!
