What ever would I do without my dear Mom??!! Today we hung my show at the Shoreby Club second floor gallery. She cut wire hangers, helped level and present all the work ...that included climbing and moving a heavy ladder no less than a dozen times. I had thought it would take about 45 minutes, oh how wrong I was. We never stopped moving for over two hours... 21 of my paintings are now on exhibit there. Thanks again Mom, you're a lifesaver.
The show runs from SEPT 1 - OCT 26. Access to see it is by appt. with the club or through moi. I'm happy to give personal tours. If you are in the Bratenahl, Cleveland Northern Ohio area and want to have a little look-see, please contact me!
What a beautiful show!!! I especially love the magnolia blossoms in the bottom picture. Yes, your mom is awesome- you're so lucky to have her there to help!!
ReplyDeleteI see where you got that glorious hair! Your exhibit looks awesome.
ReplyDeleteI wish I was there to see your exhibit in person. It looks great and like Roxanne I love the two bottom paintings. How fortunate to have such a wonderful mother to help you! Two beautiful red heads with a ladder!
ReplyDeleteLovely venue...best of luck with successful response! Your Mom is the Best! (I remember my Mom when she visited me at 80 and helped to paint my studio floor before an open studio! I think fondly of her now when I repaint it and find areas we skipped!)

ReplyDeletePeople have no idea how much work goes into these things! It all turned out so beautiful, and how sweet that your mama is so supportive! (Who wouldn't be proud of such a talented and kind daughter?)
ReplyDeleteWishing you much success and many sales from this show!
Beautiful still life work! You have the gift, for sure.
ReplyDeleteYour work looks wonderful hanging on the walls of such a venue.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the exhibit.
I too am blessed to have my Mama still with me at 83 years young.
ReplyDeleteShe helped me hang a show in Boston two years ago after I sprained my ankle the night before.
Why do we always think it's going to take 45 minutes? It ALWAYS takes hours!
Looks great.
