I'm not one of those people who can watch a movie or read a particular book more than once. So it may seem strange that I can paint the same composition over and over and never grow tired of it... This arrangement of yellow tulips in the blue pottery vase teaches me something new every time. To see more of my tulip paintings, click here.
Beautifully done, Diane!
ReplyDeletelove the rich blue of the vase and the graceful hang of the tulips! Very poetic!
ReplyDeleteI can see why you don't tire of this composition. I think the landscape as opposed to portrait format makes it different from other paintings of flowers. The yellow of the tulips and blue of the vase work beautifully together. It's a winner!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind and generous comments, Diane. I really appreciate it coming from the "Queen of flower painting!" If anyone makes it look easy, that would be you! Your paintings always have such a polished, and glowingly soft look to them. Their reflections and compositions are so very pleasing! Thanks again....
ReplyDeleteThis is stunning, Diane. Love the whole composition.
ReplyDeleteI'm the same way. I love this.
ReplyDeletelove the shadows on the wall behind the tulips! really adds to the depth of the painting! great job!

ReplyDeletePaint on, kid.
And I, for one, never get tired of seeing what you do with the yellow tulips and blue vase.
