Here's a better balance of baby with flowers... I'm getting closer to the look I want, I think. (: Will return to floral still lifes in May!
On a side note, I'm having too much fun watching the entries add up (below) for my painting give away, be sure to enter by commenting on the post below this one! A winner will be randomly chosen Friday morning!
The other is good but I agree there is a better composition with this one and the delicate colours are so beautifully executed. Like the tiny "dream" flower over baby's head.
ReplyDeleteOH! i love this game! and that painting reminds me of my baby niece. I've never seen you work on portraiture. I looks great! We have another 50 dollar show coming up in you're interested. R!ch
ReplyDeleteRight! You're having fun watching the entries add up while those of us who've entered are watching our chances growing slimmer! But it's great that your receiving such good response.
ReplyDeleteThe daffodil baby painting is very sweet.
Wow! 52 comments/entries! Good for you - too much competition for me! :-)
ReplyDeleteThis painting is so sweet!! I love it. The little pudgy hand and sweet expression on the baby is just joyful. I love it!
The other 2 are good but this one top them all.
