So lovely! I like the way you kept the palette muted except for those great bright red petals and the pure white. I also really like the yellow shadows on the background flowers.
Wow, your work is beautiful. Not sure what you were doing in your absence from art, but you must have learned a lot beforehand. Your paintings reveal a level of overall expertise and confidence that doesn't just come out of the blue. The milky consistency of your paint is stunning. Glad to have discovered your blog.
Well I won't bore you with another "beautiful" adjective [which you already know it is ;o)...] but I just want you to know I finally realized (yes, I'm a little slow on the uptake) that just as important as your unique and skilled painting style is your wonderful knack for composition! That is what I need to work on... okay, I need to work on both.
