Preparing Panels for Oil Painting

Today I'm doing busy work: prepping panels for paint, cleaning off my office desk and making a round of comments on my favorite blogs. I may even bake some crab stuffed mushrooms for my dear husband. nodp

I have been getting your blog for awhile now and just wanted to take a minute to tell you how wonderful I think your work is. I just love the way you handle your flowers. It is distinctly your style--just love the renderings. I am sure many more good things are going to be coming your way. I simply just enjoy what you do!

  3. Thanks for posting this. I often feel if I haven't PAINTED today, I'm a bad artist. So I forgo prepping my panels and tidying up - just spend more money buying ready made panels, and live in the chaos. Thank you again. You rock, in many ways!

  4. Sounds like a perfect day for prepping panels. What type of panels do you use? Love the bright rich colors of your paintings.
