Bedtime Brigade painting of sheep

Bedtime Brigade  Oil on wood, 8" x 8,"  SOLD
At Lake Metroparks Farmpark in Kirtland, OH the dog park is called a Canine Meadow.  Farmpark is a family-oriented science and cultural center devoted to agriculture and farming...and a wonderful place to wander, should you have the chance. I brought my camera with me and was thrilled to discover sheep, goats, horses and chickens! By the time I got to the Well Bred Shed, my camera battery had died...  a tragic occurrence, as there lived piglets and calves. Must buy a membership and go again soon!

In other news: "New Do" made the second page of the Lake County News Herald!  :)  The painting will be part of the Skulls and Skeleton exhibit at Lakeland Community College.  A costume party reception will take place October 26th from 6-9pm, though the exhibit is open to the public now.

Thanks for reading, have a great day!

  1. I've been to Kirtland, OH several times, but never to the place you wrote about. Great sheep painting. Don't you just hate camera batteries. They are so rude! Love the Halloween painting. Looks like a great time.

  2. A good test for a painting is black and white reproduction;how does it stand up? Your picture still looks awesome. Love the sheep and the dreamy treatment!
