Kitty Cats!  I'm a bit torn between doing paintings like what you see above and the one before it from Thursday's post.  I've been talking about doing "graphicy, designy" cat paintings for a while now, maybe I just need to do a few more of both.  It's nice to take a break from flowers.

    Diane, I really love this!! It is very contemporary with the monochromatic qualities to this painting! Can't wait to see more kitty paintings:)

    Oooooohhh, very nice painting! I love the smokey gray/black color and how you perfectly captured the expectant pose... focused eyes, tensed muscles, attentive ears. Your value shapes and contrasts are right on!
