Pear Boat fruit oil painting still life

Pear Boat Oil on wood 8" x 10" N/A
I found some great not-so-fussy battenburg lace that you will probably see more of in the next few months. I tried it with several different flower arrangements, but the pretty pears and grapes won me over this time.

Love this composition! The cut out lace looks so great with the grapes. Gorgeous work on the pears as well.

The cut-out lace is delicate and the pears plump + juicy. Nice combo Diane!

I'll be there every time you paint the lace, Diana. The cool clours in this painting is very pleasing!

Love the way the grapes lead the eye to the lace- and the other way around. Also love the warm grey color in the back. Your work is gorgeous!

I absolutely love this Diane! There's something about the green of the pears and deep purple blues along with the cool warmth of the lace that just works so very well. Lovely brushwork!

I really like this piece. Beautiful color on the pears and coolness of the grapes really sets them off and I love how you incorporated the lace with it´s cutouts....great!

I was tricked in that painting. When I first saw it. I thought it is a true picture of Pear. That painting is just so perfect and well painted.

Your pears are very sensual and their colors are beautiful. This is a gorgeous painting with its composition, colors and subject matter.
