Oh Diane, this is beautiful. The petals are so delicate and lovely.
I love this! so fresh and delicate. the propellar flower and the red to the left are my eye catchers.A warm painting for a very cold day. Lovely, Diane.
So lovely! I like the way you kept the palette muted except for those great bright red petals and the pure white. I also really like the yellow shadows on the background flowers.
You are right, I feel like they are very delicate and fluttery, and the wind is blowing them gently. You have the gift!!!
a beautiful work!
Diane, I have always loved your flowers and they have only gotten better. These are stunning. Sweet!
Diane,Wow, your work is beautiful. Not sure what you were doing in your absence from art, but you must have learned a lot beforehand. Your paintings reveal a level of overall expertise and confidence that doesn't just come out of the blue. The milky consistency of your paint is stunning. Glad to have discovered your blog.
Well I won't bore you with another "beautiful" adjective [which you already know it is ;o)...] but I just want you to know I finally realized (yes, I'm a little slow on the uptake) that just as important as your unique and skilled painting style is your wonderful knack for composition! That is what I need to work on... okay, I need to work on both.
this is really good!! love the strong colours, and you did great on the glass too. i know glass is always hard to get!!
This composition is wonderful and the colors sing. Love visiting your blog. Your paintings are always beautiful.
Diane, your flowers are wonderful, the colours are so pure and rich!I like the little nasturnium fallen on the table, too.
I like your work a lot, it's a nice blend of graphic layout and deft handling, among other things.

So very lovely!
This is beautiful, I love the delicateness of the while flowers and the strokes in the vase and stems. And great composition as always!Joan
Lovely brushwork you've developed...
Your paintings are beautiful. I like how you were able to achieve a realistic painting without sacrificing a very painterly style.Absolutely love your work!
Why don't you do another like this? because the vase is so real, it is amazing.Monique.
