I'm getting a lot of mileage out of the pretty tulips from Trader Joe's! This composition is cut in half horizontally...which is usually a no-no. But I think it works because of the random sprawl of the flowers and slightly off center placement of the pottery jug. A bit more drama this time around. Me likey.

Your flowers are always luminous, but your vase surfaces (glass, porcelain) are always perfect too! How do you do that?! : )

Beautiful flowers and glass combination. I am enjoying your addition of vases etc. into your flower compositions.

I have some tulips in my post today.
My Mother-in-law who is dutch, taught me to put a penny in the vase and the tulips stand up tall!~
Lovely painting!
Thanks for your kind comment.

Beautiful Diane! It's fun to break the rules and get away with it.

Me likey too! I love the very rich colors, especially in the blue jug. And it's pleasing how you used all rich colors, the pinks and greens and even the tabletop seem to all be very harmonious in their richness.

Gorgeous! Love them next to the dark background. Great subtle reflection of the flowers on the dish.

I decided to watch your tulips paintings and I chose this as the most beautiful of them. The contrast was the thing I loved most.
