Love, love, love this one. I've been painting the little nasturtiums for a few days now and this is the first time I caught their special characteristics... They have these little "tails" & balloon-like bases so lovely and fragile. Plus, the glass came out kinda good too. It was a swell day in rainy Cleveland, OH.
The colour of these nasturtiams just sings Diane and like you I find their shape fascinating.
ReplyDeleteDian this is mesmerizing. I think the shadow behind the bottle connecting it to the right flower really creates the interesting atmosphere along with the handsome darks of the stems...and the weightless sensation inside of bottle all great!
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous Diane, you don't see enough nasturtiums. So delicate and the color is fantastic.
