Starry Daffodil

I painted this same daffodil in March of this year, here. I like 'em both, but this one has a more subtle quality in colors and edges than the first... In related news, it was a rainy and overcast day in Cleveland today. So much so, that I postponed photographing my beautiful sunflowers 'til tomorrow.

    This one is a masterpeice, I LOVE it!. All that puple and yellow and polka dots, very fun. And what a wonderful job you did on that daffodil!

    The background to this really works well - both the subtle pattern and colours. Great work.
