Saturday Sunflowers I & II Oil on Paper each RESERVED

It was dreadfully humid today. I'm afraid this will be it for pictures on these, two 22x22 sunflower paintings. I have painted them before in smaller sizes, but never as a designated set. I'm happy with how they turned out... Once the weather is more hospitable and I'm feeling less like a slug, I will re-photograph them.

  1. Wow, Diane! These are stunning and the size makes them quite a statement.

  2. Beautiful works. I love the way you have photographed them, in situ, so to speak. It shows their dimensions.

  3. Diane,
Beautiful sunflowers! I also love the tulips below! You do such a beautiful job on florals. I've never tried painting florals with oils(only pastel). Maybe someday I'll get up my nerve. Take care and enjoy the humidity. We've had nothing but rain and humidity all summer here in Maine...I'm so tired of it!
