The Greeter, Why no "Buy Now" on that painting?

The Greeter  Oil on wood, 6" x 6," SOLD
A few of you reached through the internets to ask what's up with the "Reserved" status on recent paintings.  And why no "Buy Now?" I'm waiting to see if they get accepted into a show...  Yes, I succumbed to the lure of the juried exhibit.  Validation from peers, the potential of being "discovered" (ha!) and monetary awards:  tempting me at the moment. Standby for further updates.

  1. This is so beautiful! Both paintings should be chosen to be in the show! Good luck!

  2. Your work surely deserves to be in many juried shows and I expect that will happen.

  5. I enjoy all of your work, Diane. But those sweet cats, I love them so much! You have a very special skill for portraying character and mood, weight and form and gesture, and, remarkably, the essence of fur, which I feel I could reach out and pet. Seeing your work in my blog-feed is a delightful gift. Thank you for sharing.

Good luck! I have fallen in love with your work and especially the butterfly V as it reminds me of my beloved cat who I just lost...so much so that I cried....so I would really be interested in that painting....
