Stylish Apprentice cat on pattern painting

Stylish Apprentice  Oil on wood  8" x 8"  NFS
Finding patterns that compliment kitty form, color and pose is always interesting, I'm really pleased with the pattern here.

    Where DO you come up with all your background inspiration anyway? I picture you having hanging racks full of fabric, table clothes, bedspreads, and carpets :)
