Through the Window oil painting of white cat

Through the Window  Oil on wood  8" x 8"  SOLD
Multi views of this kitteh, "Through the Window" my painting above and a photo to the left.  :)  I checked the shelter website and couldn't find his official adoption photo, I hope that means he's been adopted... Wouldn't be surprised, he has beautiful (ever so slightly crossed) blue eyes and very luxurious fur!

  4. Wow! You have really shown your skill here, painting a white cat and white background. Whites are so difficult! You're amazing.

  5. Quite a departure for you in that the background is plain...but wow it's amazing how all our attention them rests on the cat and we are quietly with him. I love your backgrounds but I really like this painting without one per say. It shows a greater, and well deserved self confidence .

I'm a big fan of reflected light, of light in the shadows, so I have to remark on the window frame and how you created definition with tones. Great!
