The Elder painting of an owl profile

The Elder  Oil on wood  6" x 8"  SOLD
Unlike humans, owls do not have eyeballs that rotate.  Luckily their heads are able to spin almost 360 degrees.

  4. Loving your owls.
The side view is really a powerful image and I did not know that about their eyes.
I have a soft spot for owls. My father collected them and another sibling got the collection but I still think of dad when I see an owl.
