Blue Eyed Cat on art nouveau pattern

Blue Eyed Cat  Oil on wood  8" x 8"  SOLD
I never get sick of  painting cats.  This one waits for a forever home at the Cleveland Animal Protective League...  Very happy with the modified Art Nouveau background--it compliments her eyes just right.

  1. And I never, ever get sick of looking at your paintings of cats! I LOVE each one - and their personalities come through. You capture their unique life force. You really SEE cats. And I especially appreciate your style of painting - how you capture fur (and feathers with your owls) with a minimum of strokes. Your work is a joy to find in my in-box. Thank you so much.

  4. Wow. Really gorgeous. The gesture of the cat is just right, and the eye is beautiful.
I like the backgrounds too, in this and the freesia painting.
