Bird Paintings works in progress

I seem to have eased up on small daily paintings in favor of doing bigger paintings and commissions lately.  I didn't anticipate missing feedback from you all so much as I do!  :)  I'm still painting!   Here's a quick look at what I'm working on now.

  1. Hey Diane! I'm working from tiny pics, but the colours and composition of the first painting are absolutely exquisite. Can we have a bigger look, please?! Indigo x

  3. I will post the final paintings (do overs) whenever I work the kinks out, Indigo. These are just a leeetle too awkward. I'm using acrylic on the backgrounds and figuring it out as I go. Hi Loren!! Thank you.

  4. Know that I have missed your inspiring artwork, Diane. Even though I don't always comment I always am interested and love your paintings. These are already looking fabulous

  5. I would urge no one to emulate my pace, my current painting just marked its first birthday lol...but there is something to be said about painting bigger and there for slower paintings. One sure learns alot As you say ," figuring out as one goes" ...it's a mulct-surface investigation . An unfinished painting has interests a finished one does not, no matter of well done because possibilities are still open

and by the way these are great already
