Art Deco Still Life

Art Deco Still Life  Oil on wood  16" x 16" SOLD
After my last painting, I felt ready to try something a little brighter.  I'm especially happy with the art deco teapot and I look forward to painting more of my as-of-yet unpainted props.

  1. What a lovely color combo! I especially like the contrast between the bright, happy flowers and the lighter, paler background. Beautiful!

  2. I love your use of props! I've been mostly a landscape painter but still lifes now call out to me. Luckily, my attic is full of props too! Painting during the 30 day challenge that Leslie Saeta put forward, caused me to choose subjects I would never have chosen. Has made me look differently at my art. Have a great day, Diane!
