Siamese Looks Back small oil painting of cat

Siamese Looks Back   Oil on cradled wood   8" x 8"  NFS
It often happens that I mix the wrong color --in my head it was the perfect blend, on the subject matter at hand-- not so much.  I can be stubborn.  I hate wasting paint!  It's hard to scrape off the wrong color and try again for the right one.  But letting what I see over-ride what I think is something I'm working on.  This painting entailed much wasted paint, but I am happy with the results.
