Landing's Muse fixing painting

AFTER:  Landing's Muse  Oil on wood  8" x 8"  $195.
BEFORE
I popped out the whites of the cosmos here and added some saturated red and yellows.  I did not re-paint the background--even though it looks a much grayer.  Maybe that can be attributed to a new (fantastic) camera I've been using?  The top photo looks nearly identical to the current incarnation of this painting.

  1. Excellent painting, Diane. I also love your previous "mums" with that beautiful vase. You do so well with flowers.!

  2. Fun and interesting to see what you change of fix although I always think they are beautiful to start with! The top one does look grayer- will be interesting to see what your new camera picks up now too! Beautiful:)

  6. Thanks hmuxo and Kathy! Hi Kelley! I wanted a good macro camera with some adjustable features, but not a full on DSLR/w steep learning curve. If you shop around--You'll see a lot of them stress zoom capability and I didn't need a super zoom. --My final choice after much research was the Canon Powershot G12, I totally LOVE it. (:
