It's a challenge to get good color saturation when subject matter is either very light or very dark.  But this painting does a sufficient job of that.  I really like it and I will do it again sometime, bigger.

In other news, I'm pleased to report the River Gallery is now representing my work.  The gallery is located on the Old Detroit Road District in Rocky River, OH--the area offers an alternative to dreadful mall shopping with a great selection of eclectic antique shops, boutiques and restaurants.  Also found there:  Mitchell Sotka Antiques, a wonderful source of pristine condition 18th and 19th Century art and antiques.  If you get a chance, do visit this shopper's paradise!
