I can't take much credit for this painting. It's a commission and the photographic reference (which was not taken by me) was already cropped and oh-so-perfect! But I do so love how it came out. I've been waiting to post it with permission from my customer. Painting this inspired me to paint more pets.

  1. Oh my... I am in awe and studying how you were able to paint the fur so soft and fluffy. I love "Green Eyes" too. My favorite composition with light and shadows. I adore the way you even captured that eye in half cast light. Beautiful.

Also, thank you for your kind comments. You cannot imagine how encouraging and meaningful coming from someone I admire those words are to me. (hugs)

  6. This literally took my breath away. You have painted everything perfectly, but that white fur with just the right amount of pink skin peeking through is stunning.
