I just can't get a good photo of this painting! It's too wet, too big and I need one of those fancy photo tent thingys bad. How's that for excuses? This will have to suffice for now. Pantone has declared that turquoise is the hot color for 2010. I painted this composition before here.... this time around it's bigger and in honor of Pantone's choice I changed the pretty pottery vase from ultramarine to turquoise with a teal background, LOVE it!! Will re-photograph under better conditions later.

  2. It looks beautiful! And its great to see the whole works surrounding the painting, not just the cropped image.

  4. Wow...amazing how a little color changes pumps the image up. I see part of your success is that you do keep an ear to the trends. Another quality I would love to emulate.
