Second Cousin Sunflower Painting

This pottery vase is more spectacular than how I painted it. There's drippy bright sienna brown paint around the top... and neat black spots on top of the matte finish brown glaze. Details you miss if you squint... Yes, a little more detailing than I could manage on this fine Monday.

  3. This is fantastic, I love the way you have completely defined the fact that these are sunflowers, yet the petals are not super detailed. In fact they seem to have movement! And you did a great job on that vase!!!
