Tulips Plus Lime 6" x 6" Oil on Canvas Panel $95.

The "lime" is for the tablecloth across the bottom. ...a simple sweep of color that makes for quite a dramatic effect?! Not sure if I like it or hate it. More tulips to follow!

  2. I love it! It's a little strip of pure joy. It reminds me of a Van Gogh floral I saw once with a strip of red. Wonderful!

  6. Diane, The green stripe, in my opinion, makes the painting. I love the way you have continued the green idea in the vase. Perfect.

  8. Hi,
Your paintings are so charming. The strip (horizontal) is needed for grounding your composition and I like it. Considering the theory of complimentary colors, try a more yellow/ochre like color maybe - but at another time if you don't want to fool with this one. Again, you're paintings are wonderful!
