This skull sits between a miniature (working) engine and a kaleidescope on my husband's collectibles shelf. He found it along with the rest of the skeleton inside an old tree stump. He thinks it's from a "weasel-type" animal. I'm happy with this painting.
Nice job Diane. I like the painterly brushwork and the contrast between the flower and the skull.

Very cool! I'm very fond of the subject matter. This has to look so great framed and hung. I imagine that red flower against the pale backdrop would draw someone from across the room.
