  3. M: Thanks. It's shocking just how BIG 16x16 seems/daunting too. Compared to my little 6x6's they are somewhat dramatic! JOAN: Thanks. Of interest the lightest areas on the petals of THIS flower were painted in LAST (after the most of the painting had completely dried) when I realized it was getting lost in the similar value background. (:

  5. Terrific Diane, so confident but subtle at the same time. It must have been exciting to work at that size after working small scale for a while. You are tempting me to try a 16" square!
